The mission of AFJROTC is to develop better citizens for America. The objectives of AFJROTC are to educate and train high school cadets in citizenship, promote community service, instill responsibility, character, and self-discipline, and provide instruction in the fundamentals of air and space science. Curriculum opportunities include: academic studies, character education, life skills education, leadership opportunities, team building experiences, JROTC competitions, field trips, and training opportunities. |

Aerospace Science I (click on title to go to AS I homepage) Cadets will journey through aviation history. They will learn about ancient flight, fly with the Wright Brothers, realize the importance of air power in WWI and WWII, acknowledge the accomplishments of Charles Lingbergh and other aviators, join the Army Air Corps, and identify the role of air power in the Korean War, Vietnam War, Cuban Missile Crisis, and the Gulf Wars. Additionally, cadets will learn the history of AFJROTC, how to properly wear the Air Force uniform, the importance of discipline, and citizenship skills. |

Aerospace Science II (click on title to go to AS II homepage) Cadets will discover and explore the six regions of the World. They will learn about the geographical, historical, and cultural perspectives of each region. The regions are South Asia, East Asia, Middle East, Latin America, Africa, and Europe. This course will prepare student for living in a "global" community where they must be familiar with other people's cultures and beliefs.

Aerospace Science III (click on title to go to AS III homepage) The third year cadets will manage the entire corps. All the planning, organizing, coordinating, directing, controlling, and decison-making will be done by the cadets. The cadets will also focus on deciding on what course to take after high school. |

Aerospace Science IV (click on title to go to AS IV homepage) The fourth year cadets will assist the third year cadets in managing the entire corps. These cadets are the mentors for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year cadets. Fourth year cadets will gain valuable leadership skills in this course. |
