Summer Office Hours

Freedom High School Summer hours of Operations will be from 8:00am to 4:00pm beginning Friday, June 19. 2009.





New Student Registration

The Counseling Department will begin registering new students that reside in Freedom's zone beginning August 5, 2009.  Please call 703.583.1405 to schedule an appointment. Evening appointments will be available on select days.


Final Report Cards

Final 2008-2009 report cards will be mailed home Wednesday, June 24.








Summer School Information

Summer School will be held at Gar-Field High School June 17 - August 7. Students interested in taking courses should contact Freedom's Counseling Office at 703.583.1405. Registration deadline is June 17.

Edulink Maintenance

Edulink will be "down" for summer maintenance from July 1 through July 31. After the start of the 2009-2010 school year, new accounts will be created for all users that will use the same username and password as SchoolFusion.

Next year, all users will have a "single sign-on" that will give them access to all PWCS school websites and to Edulink! To prepare for this upgrade, all student and parent accounts will be deleted after June 17. For details, click the links below.

Basketball Academy

Freedom is holding its 1st Annual Basketball Academy Camp and will be having two sessions. Session I will be from July 13-17 and Session II will be from July 20-24. The camp is for boys and girls ages 7-15 and will start at 9:00am and go to 4:00pm The cost is $130.

Summer Reading / Assignments

The purpose of the PWCS Summer Reading Program is to encourage students to enjoy quality literature and to continue developing their independent reading skills. Student participation in the program is voluntary. Students who choose to participate in the program are required to complete a minimum number of readings over the summer.
